"Make films that make a difference."
Founded by Bill VanDerKloot a quarter century ago, VanDerKloot Film & Television, and its sister companies Magick Lantern and Little Mammoth Media,
is one of the oldest and most prestigious production and post-production
companies in Atlanta. VanDerKloot remains active in both creative and
operations in all his companies under the umbrella of VanDerKloot Film
& Television, Inc.
He describes his philosophy as "making films that make a difference."
And that he has. His original films have thrilled and educated children
by exploring an ocean-going submarine, crawling around the cockpit of
a space shuttle, even straddling a volcano. Targeting adults, his films
have raised awareness and generated funds to protect the environment.
In addition, Magick Lantern is the premier house for advertising commercials
and corporate communications videos. The industry has recognized the
extraordinary artistry brought to every show with close to 100 industry
awards.
On the balance sheet, VanDerKloot has contributed to Atlanta talent
by paying millions of dollars to local artists. from grips to producers,
from actors to writers, through his many projects over the years.
